About MAYBE
Money with an if, and nobody in the middle.
Send a friend money that only turns real if you're right. If it doesn't happen, it comes back to you. No custody, no lawyers, no chasing.

Why this rail
Money with an if needs three things: a question with a date that someone is accountable for, a place to hold the money that neither friend controls, and a settlement that lands by itself. Hyperliquid's bonded questions give the first; a small contract on HyperEVM gives the second; a resolver that only carries the answer gives the third. Nobody in between can move anyone's money.
The three parts
1. The question
Every if is a live Hyperliquid outcome: a question with a date, answered by a deployer who staked 500,000 HYPE on answering it right and on time. You pick from the questions that exist. Nobody makes one up, so nobody can argue about it later.
2. The escrow
A small contract on HyperEVM, deployed from a wallet, holds the amount. It has four moves: pay out on the answer, cancel within an hour, take back after 30 days of silence, and withdraw the 1% share. There is no fifth move. Read it.
3. The resolver
Once a minute, Foundry checks every open note against Hyperliquid's settled answers and posts the settle fraction to the escrow from one key. That key can post an answer and nothing else: it cannot choose who gets paid, change an amount, or take a coin out.
The rails underneath
- Network
- Hyperliquid testnet, HyperEVM chain 998
- What's locked
- Testnet HYPE, standing in for dollars
- Settlement
- Hyperliquid's own answer, posted by the resolver. Partial answers pay partially.
- The resolver
- 0x000c75ED8Fd32c754100Db98de0C779435B6F068
- Cancel window
- 1 hour after sending
- Take-back
- 30 days after the question's date, if nobody answered
- Fee
- 1% of what's paid out, to whoever deployed the escrow. Nothing on what comes back.
- Most you can lose
- The amount, and only if it happens. Shown before you tap.
What it isn't
- It isn't a bet with the house. Both people are friends; the escrow is a shelf, not a counterparty.
- It isn't custody. Foundry never holds the money and cannot move it.
- It isn't a promise. The payout is code, so nobody has to remember, chase, or forgive.
Run your own
Deploy the escrow from your wallet and every note sent through it pays you 1%. It takes one transaction. Deploy page.
