MAYBE

Send a maybe.

Money with an if. Your friend gets it if you're right about the world. If you're wrong, it comes back to you. No custody, no chasing, no “you owe me”.

Runs on Hyperliquid testnet. Testnet HYPE stands in for dollars.

On its way

How a maybe travels

Three moments, none of them a chore.

  1. 1

    You write it

A person, an amount, an if, and a note. The if is a live Hyperliquid question with a date, so there's nothing to argue about later.

  2. 2

It waits where nobody can touch it

The amount sits in a small contract on HyperEVM. Not with you, not with them, not with us. Only the answer can move it.

  3. 3

    The world answers

When the question settles, the money goes where you said. If it happened, to them. If it didn't, back to you. Nobody has to do anything.

What people send

Little bets. Big promises. Gifts with a wink.

A maybe is a message first and money second. It's the "bet you" that never gets settled, the bonus that never gets paid, the present that's more fun with a condition on it. Now it lands by itself.

  • dinner's on you if they win
  • told you so
  • a birthday present with a twist
  • the bonus you promised
  • the bet your friend won't take
  • a thank-you that pays out on Friday

The honest bits

It's locked, not spent
The amount sits in the escrow until the question settles. The contract is public and small enough to read over coffee.
Only the answer travels
Foundry's resolver can post what happened. It cannot pay itself, change the amount, or pick a different friend.
Typos are forgiven
Sent it to the wrong wallet? Cancel within the hour and it all comes straight back.
Nobody is ever stuck
If a question is never answered, the sender can take the money back 30 days after its date.

1% of every payout goes to whoever runs the escrow. You could. How it's built.
